SALOMON KALOU PAYS UP $5000 USD BET TO MIKEL OBI FOR LOSING QUARTER-FINAL MATCH TO NIGERIA

Salomon Kalou has paid up the $5000 USD bet he had with John Mikel Obi of Nigeria. The former team mates at Chelsea, Salomon Kalou, had agreed that whoever lost the quarter final match at AFCON 2013 will pay the other $5000 USD.
Kalou and Obi struck up a good friendship from the times they spent together at Stamford Bridge and the Lille forward so was confident, that he told Obi that he would score one of the goals in the game.
However, Emmanuel Emenike and Sunday Mba ensured Cheik Tiote’s header didn’t count and Kalou has now confirmed he has given Obi the money.
Kalou confirmed to Brilla FM that he has paid up! Here's what he said:
“We played a very good Super Eagles, they started the game well and scored a good goal to take the lead. I have redeemed my pledge to Mikel as he won the bet.”
Did I hear someone say Fashola's asking for tax on the $5000 USD?
