Today, wednesday 23rd May, 2012, volatile QPR captain, bad boy Joey barton was slammed a 12-match ban by the english F.A. after an independent commission found him guilty on a two count charge of violent conduct during manchester city and QPR's final match of the season at the Etihad stadium, Manchester.
The 29yearold was also fined 75,000 pounds almost equivalent to his weekly wage of 90,000 pounds.
He'd elbowed Tevez, kicked Aguero and also attempted to head butt Vincent kompany.
His incident with Kompany and Aguero happened after he'd been Red carded, which fell outside the referee's jurisdiction.
Barton accepted the Aguero incident but denied the Kompany breach, this the commission could not prove.
