DAY ONE: CORONATION OF THE 19TH AKARIGBO OF REMOLAND - NIGERIA, OBA ADEWALE BABATUNDE AJAYI

The good people of REMOLAND welcome everyone to the coronation of the 19th Akarigbo/Paramount ruler of REMOLAND, Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi. This event will be marked by several events lasting seven days from today, the 1st of December, 2017.

Today, marks the beginning of the 7-day long coronation ceremony of REMOLAND's 19th Akarigbo, Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi. This will be flagged off by the "Four Constituency Football Tournament" for the Akarigbo Cup between:

1.       Remo North State Constituency;

2.       Sagamu State Constituency I (Ofin);

3.       Sagamu State Constituency II (Makun), and

4.       Ikenne State Constituency.

Preliminary Football matches between these teams will be played at the Sagamu International Stadium for the emergence of two finalists, who will play the final match on Monday, 4th December 2017.

According to the U.N. Migration Agency, Growing numbers of African migrants passing through Libya are traded in what they call slave markets before being held for ransom, forced labour or sexual exploitation.

When interviewed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), West African migrants recounted being bought and sold in garages and car parks in the southern city of Sabha, one of Libya's main migrant smuggling hubs for between $200 and $500.

"Migrants are being sold in the market as a commodity... Selling human beings is becoming a trend among smugglers as the smuggling networks in Libya are becoming stronger and stronger." And most of them are from Nigeria, Senegal and Gambia - are captured as they head north towards Libya's Mediterranean coast, where some try to catch boats for Italy.

Othman Belbeisi, head of the IOM's Libya mission, said,

Along the way they are prey to an array of armed groups and smuggling networks that often try to extort extra money in exchange for allowing migrants to continue.

Most migrants are used as day labourers in construction or agriculture. Some are paid and others are forced to work without pay. for women, it is worse as, they are raped and forced into prostitution.

American President Donald Trump is planning to sell up to a dozen aircrafts (The Super Tucano A-29 aircraft) worth $600 million USD to Nigeria's air force for the fight against the extremist group Boko Haram.

We are back again on the same issue.  November 2016 after the above headline graced our blog, Bishop Oyedepo's ministry's management went ahead and paid part the amount owed all publishers. But since then, the balance are still being owed the publishers.

April 2017 which is less than 3 days away, will make it one whole year that the books (these publishers haven't been paid for) were supplied to schools (Kingdom Heritage Model Schools and Faith Academy) owned by Bishop David Oyedepo's ministry.

Bishop David Oyedepo is currently joint Richest Pastor in the World with Bishop T. D. Jakes. They are both worth $150 million USD individually.
