Over 2000 Botafogo fans have turned out at Rio de Janeiro airport to celebrate the arrival of 36 year-old Clarence Seedorf to Brazil on friday...he was so overwhelmed by the huge turn-out and showed his appreciation by waving back. He is married to a Brazilian and he has signed a 2 year deal with the Brazilian club.

The fans welcomed Seedorf at Rio de Janeiro airport on Friday, showing banners and yelling his name.
Botafogo officials describe the transfer as the biggest by a foreign player in Brazilian club history.

He has won the Champions League with Ajax(1995), Real Madrid(1998) and Milan(2003 and 2007).
Maybe he can now add the South American champions league to the list?
