ANTHONY OGOGO SON OF A NIGERIAN FATHER TO BOX WORLD CHAMP IN D ROUND OF 16 IN GREAT BRITAIN'S COLOURS




He earlier got Team Great Britain's boxing team off to a winning start at London 2012, by beating Junior Castillo Martinez at the ExCel Arena...The 23-year-old middleweight, from Lowestoft in Suffolk, son of a Nigerian father and born to an English mother recovered from a slow first round against his Dominican opponent to advance comfortably, by 13-6.
Ogogo is to face top seed and reigning world champion Ievgen Khytrov in the round of 16...he'd earlier said in april, 2012 that,
"My goal is simple, to win. Some of the Great Britain squad will be household names after the Olympic Games and I hope to be one of them."


The fight is set for august 2nd 2012.
