A third bid for Wigan's Victor Moses by Chelsea FC has been rejected says Latics chairman Dave Whelan claimed this week – the bid is rumoured to be close to £5m .

21 year-old Victor Moses has one year remaining on his Wigan contract and has shown no desire to sign a new deal at the DW Stadium.
Chelsea boss Di Matteo has now confirmed their rumoured interest. In his words:

“[It's] something that the clubs are discussing but at the moment he is a Wigan player,”
“He had a good season last season, he is young and an interesting prospect.”

When questioned about his 4-2 preSeason tour victory in America, he said:

“We were looking for a good work out, and we saw some good possession and combination play, integrating new players and seeing our younger talents in the club that will hopefully be the future,”

“Hazard is a verstatile player, he can play in the role he played tonight but also out wide. Last season we didn’t have too many options in the role he played tonight apart from Juan [Mata], so it’s great for the club and the team to have different options.”
