Inter beat AC Milan in their second and final match to win their 8th TIM Trophy in 12 yeras. El Sharaawy put the Rossoneri ahead in the 16th minute but Inter turned the table thanks to a Guarin header and Palacio's goal on the break.
Inter won two matches out of two following their earlier win over Juventus, the Nerazzurri end the competition on maximum points (six).
