TOP 10 NAIJA "PERSON OF THE YEAR" - THE FINALISTS ARE!!!



Here are the six finalists, who made it to Top10Naija's "Person of the Year (2012)"...in no particular order, they are:
*Chinua Achebe: His constistency in advocating for good governance in Nigeria, refusing all entreaties from the Government that does not contribute to Good Governance in the country and for successfully releasing his controversial book "" about the civil war.
*Aliko Dangote: For his role in the plight of Flood victims all around Nigeria, for investing hugely in Nigeria thereby offering a lot of Nigerians employment opportunities all around the nation. And don't forget, He is still the Richest African.
*Rochas Okorocha: He has redefined the office of the Governor in Nigeria. For the first time in Nigeria, as a Governor he slashed his security vote midway to provide free education for children of Imo state from Primary to University! Never before done in Nigeria. He has transformed Imo state from one of the most backward in years to a state of tremendous development. he still doing so.
*Nigerian Paralympians at the London 2012 Olympics: They restored Nigeria's glory at the London 2012 Olypics by winning Gold, Silver and Bronze at the Paralympics event after Nigeria's dismal performance at the Olympics.
*Sule Lamido: The Governor of Jigawa, Sule Lamido has brought all round development to the state and the people of the state do not hesitate to sing his praises, a visit to the state after lamido took over has been a story of tremendous improvement in the welfare of the people.
*Occupy Nigeria Protesters: Since the June 12, 1993 elections, Nigerians have never spoken with one voice like this before...irrespective of ethnic religious backgrounds...Everyone who participated, those alive and the matyrs who lost their lives during the protests alike all around Nigeria.
