The Chicago Police
Department is taking death threats to Rick Ross seriously. According to TMZ,
the Chicago PD has launched an investigation into death threats made against the selfMade C.E.O. by a Chicago gang, the Gangster Disciples.
In a recent video posted by the Gangster
Disciples the group issued death threats against Ross. In the video, the gangsters demand Ross cut a check to Gangster Disciples
founder Larry Hoover, who is serving life sentence in federal prison, or else
there will be “trouble.”
The Gangster Disciples are angry that Ricky Rozay mentioned Larry Hoover in his
2010 single, “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast).” Ross is also accused of stealing the
group’s Star of David logo for the cover of his latest mixtape, “The Black Bar
Mitzvah.”
Ricky Rozay had in a recent statement said he didn't cancel his MMG tours because of the threats.
