The Vice Chancellor of University of Benin, Professor Oshodyn has hinted on the deplorable hostel situation in the school. He said:
32 students use a room meant for just 4 students! And this makes it difficult to maintain the infrastructures in the school...Ha added that, if the school authorities attempted to increase school fees to cater for the upsurge it will be met with riots and resistance from the students body.
