He won the 200 meters today, and became the first man in history to successfully defend his Olympics sprints doubles after winning both the 100&200 meters at two consecutive olympics...but his promise of doing something special in the 200 meters event today did not see the light of the day, because he couldn't beat his own record as he ran 19:32seconds...though very impressive but not good enough to beat his record of 19:12seconds. Yohan Blake and warren weir also of Jamaica came 2nd and 3rd in impressive times of 19:44 and 19:84 respectively.
