She'd posted on her facebook wall:
"Sometimes you just feel like giving up on life and its many challenges.
And for the first time in my life…I’m tired…and I want to finally rest.
I love you guys", failed to pick her calls and when family and friends panicked and called 911, the cops and paramedics got to her house found her laying on her bed, with a bottle of medication beside her, the conclusion was she'd attempted suicide, but before they could continue, Pat Houston, Whitney Houston's sister-in-law woke up was surprised and told all she was just tired so she took pain relievers to be sure, she was taken to the hospital and was released shortly after, because her story was confirmed. Thank God!
