Former Zambian President, Rupiah Banda has been officially charged for abuse of authority over a
Nigerian oil deal. Banda has been accused of misappropriating more than
$11 million during his three years in office (2008 to 2011), though now released on a bond, he's billed to appear again in court on Tuesday. He'd been stripped of his immunity earlier this month. Banda continues to claim his innocence.
