According to the commissioner of Police, Kano a Golf 3 vehicle laden with Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was arrested yesterday at
about 9:30am following a tip off from some members of the public and
various IEDs were recovered from the vehicle at Inuwa Village
in Ungoggo Local Government Area of the state. In his words, the intentions of the suspects was to cause
havoc and destablise peace which will subsequently lead to economic and
social sabotage in Kano state...he added that, the occupants of the vehicle are now at
large but were badly injured during a gun duel with the police.
