Ahmed Dogan, the leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms has dodged a serious attack! The party leader was speaking at a podium during a party caucus in the capital while 25-year-old Oktai Enimehmedov charged to the stage with a gun and pointed inches away from Dogan's face he also had two knives. No shots were fired however according to reports the weapon is known as a gas gun and used for self defense, is not lethal but can cause serious injuries if fired at close range. It appears the gun may have jammed and the attacker is quickly swarmed by guards, taken down and then kicked by those nearby...Bulgarian police have detained the attacker and took him to a hospital. It wasn't immediately clear if he sustained serious injuries, or how he even got past security to enter the hall with nearly 3000 people attending. We are just glad no life was lost. thank Gof.
