When the President made the stop-over, not even the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Umar Manko, or the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2 Command, Alhaji Mamman Tsafe, was notified of the visit.
In the words of presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati,

“He did not spend time at all; he just moved round the school briefly and left.”
