Comrade Adams Oshiomole was re-elected Edo state Governor by 431,536 votes from 17 out of the 18 local govts. Others contestants trailed him with Major General Charles Airhiavbere of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scoring 125,437 votes so far.
Oshiomhole who addressed a crowd in Benin on Sunday, said his victory in the Edo governorship election was an indication that the people had spoken.
He said his administration would continue with the good work it started three and a half years ago, while commending the people for remaining steadfast in ensuring his victory..
