Nicki Minaj called into Power 105 yesterday morning tuesday, June 5 2012 to talk to The Breakfast Club trio DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee about all the controversy surrounding Summer Jam.
During the interview, she discussed the stage show she had planned before Lil Wayne ordered YMCMB to pull out of the annual concert. She also confirmed planned appearances by Foxy Brown and Beanie Man, while dismissing rumors that she was set to diss Lil Kim with a funeral on-stage.
She also mentioned the free show she had planned for NYC to compensate fans for pulling out of Summer jam.
On the free concert she’s planning for her fans:
“It’s still in the works, but it’s definitely gonna happen. This was actually Wayne’s suggestion. Wayne was like, ‘Yo, we can do our own show for the people. You don’t have to feel bad.’”
