YAKUBU AIYEGBENI TO JOIN DROGBA, ANELKA IN CHINA!!!

Yakubu Aiyegbeni eyes China

English Premier League's Joint highest scoring african of the 2011/2012 season Nigeria's Yakubu Aiyegbeni will sign a deal with wealthy Chinese club Guangzhou Fuli, this weekend.

29year old Yakubu was one of the few bright spots in a dismal Blackburn campaign, scoring 17 goals in the Premier League as Rovers, suffering a torrid time both on and off the pitch, slumped to relegation...though he'd shown he was leaving Ewood park after Rovers dropped to the Championship.

Guangzhou's indicated that yakubu is their main target and could hold talks with the club as soon as this weekend.
Though premiership side QPR showed interest in him earlierGuangzhou's ready to throw a contract worth €6 million a year at him.

Guangzhou's deputy director, Lu Yi said:

"Yakubu is our first choice, and everything is going well now. We hope he will be in Guangzhou this weekend."

Yakubu joined Blackburn Rovers from Leicester City where he was on loan from Everton.

The striker had also previously played for Julius Berger, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth, Hapoel Kfar Saba, Maccabi Haifa and Gil Vicente...it appears China's about to be added to his profile.
