President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria has canceled his first visit to Chibok, the village from which more than 270 schoolgirls were abducted by Boko haram insurgents over 32 days ago due to security fears. He was earlier scheduled to will fly on Friday from the capital Abuja to Paris for a regional summit to discuss the Boko Haram insurgency and wider insecurity and make a stop in the northeastern village of Chibok. According to AP he cancelled the trip due to security fears.
