Rafiu Ladipo the President of The Nigeria Supporters Club has requested for the provision of about 62 million condoms to made available for the fans that would be travelling for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Ladipo made the appeal to the United Nations Programme on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS) soliciting that ‘the condoms’ allocation be increased for them. He said: “Of all football loving fans all around the world, I alone will be taking over 10,000 fans to Brazil, not only from Nigeria.” Provisions have already been made for two million condoms to be released to Nigeria, to last for the whole campaign if Nigeria gets to the final of the tournament (31 days).
