Metro claims Arsenal and Madrid have finally agreed a fee after weeks of wrangling that’s seen Madrid insist on £25.5m, while arsenal insisted on £21m, but it appears the gunners have now settled in the middle at £23m. According to Metro, Higuain is already flying in to London to complete the move after agreeing personal terms worth £100,000-a-week, and the deal could be concluded tomorrow Friday the 5th of July.
Higuain’s father, Jorge, said:‘We do not negotiate with any club without permission of the selling club. ‘We have permission [from Madrid] and hopefully we can soon see my son in the Premier League.’ Higuain senior is quoted as saying by the Metro.
