When questioned about the proposal to end the europa league, here's what the uefa head said:
"It is something that we are discussing...there's an ongoing debate about the concept of
the European competitions between 2015 and 2018. It's being discussed and a
final decision will be made in 2014. Nothing has been finalised
yet."
"This is a matter that regularly comes up, but it does not worry me to be honest. I can't see how it would work outside the framework of Uefa.

Platini also took the time to discuss the possibility of a European
superleague organised outside of Uefa, and stressed that he' was not too worried
about the idea.
