HOW POLICE DEFUSED BOMB PLACED BY CATHOLIC CHURCH IN ABUJA - NIGERIA
According to reports made available by "The Punch" newspaper, disaster was yet again averted in Abuja - Nigeria, when on Thursday 19th July, 2012 men of the bomb disposal units of the Nigeria Police foiled a bomb attack on St. Alloysius Schools, Area 3, Garki, Abuja.
Eye witness account revealed that,
"a woman who saw the bag containing the bomb under the mango tree became curious and called the attention of the church security personnel to the strange item. One of the security men in turn briefed the Head Teacher of the schools, Sister Philomena Akem, who was said to have called the attention of the police".
