The application is called SpoofApp, though the creators never knew it was going to be abused, but now scammers now use it. If you use it it changes your Phone number when calling out to a number you picked! So scammers are now picking numbers you are relaxed and recognise. Hence now, scammers can call you with your Financial Adviser's number - Even your banks number.
So now when you receive a call from your bank, and person over the line's asking for your confidential info' drop and call the bank!
