FMR GOVERNOR OF LAGOS MARWA SAYS KILLING OF CHRISTIANS IN ADAMAWA NOT BY BOKO HARAM BUT PDP LED GOVT IN ADAMAWA

The former Lagos state governor and current CPC's govnorship candidate in the state said "
“These desperate measures manifest clearly in the recent statement of the PDP that my party, the CPC has perfected a design to rig the forthcoming  election. No one however believed the party because everyone knows who the master rigger is as far as elections are concerned in this country”.
“The aim of the ruling government is to further divide the state according to religious lines between Muslims and Christians and our great party CPC and to claim that it is the handiwork of Boko Haram. Unfortunately for the ruling party, Boko Haram which always claims responsibility for its actions did not claim responsibility for this action. This is not a Boko Haram action”.

“It is also aimed at creating general insecurity in the state in order to incite fear in the electorate to prevent them from coming out to vote en-masse and to exploit the general insecurity of the state to advocate for declaration of a state of emergency in affected portions of the state, like Mubi and Yola North which they know is our stronghold”. 

Marwa added that , “In view of the foregoing, let me clearly state that no amount of intimidation, or imposition of curfew can make the electorates to abandon their resolve to remove the PDP government from power. PDP government in Adamawa state is a failed government and is like a sinking ship”.

Speaking on religious politics, Marwa said, “As far as Adamawa state is concerned, introduction of religious or ethnic politics is very dangerous because of the diversity and complication of the state. Instead of clinging on to religion for choice of candidate, I wish to urge Adamawa citizens to judge candidates on the basis of their character, performance, past experience and party program”.
