Saturday, 10th January 2015 will forever remain fresh in the memories of the world as Boko Haram murdered 2,000 people in Baga town. According to amnesty International it is the "deadliest massacre" in the history of Boko haram. Homes were burnt down and buildings destroyed as corpses of men, women and children lay in the street President Goodluck hastily sent condolences to the French over the Charlie Hebdo and supermarket attack which killed 17, but is yet to make an official comment on the slaughter of his own people. Well, atleast we all know President Goodluck spent 98 days before he agreed to meet the parents of the kidnapped Chibok girls in Abuja and not even in the geographical zone of the kidnap added to the fact that 48 hours after a bomb blast killed scores in Nyanya, Abuja was seen dancing at a political rally in Kano, as if he was celebrating the demise of the dead.
