Yesterday, the headlines was all about thugs loyal to Ekiti state governor-elect beating up the trial judge as he himself was reported (PM News) to have slapped the judge. Later a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti, Chief Omolafe Aderiye who accompanied Fayose to the court was shot dead by unknown gunmen afterwards. Aderiye wused to be the chairman of the NURTW and as soon as news of his death got to the inhabitants of the state, supporters of the deceased took to the streets causing mayhem and vandalizing properties. The campaign office of incumbent governor, Kayode Fayemi, is currently ablaze. Cause of the fire is still unknown... News reaching us now say, Governor Fayemi has imposed a curfew on the state.
