"I DID NOT CELEBRATE MY 150TH GOAL IN 149 MATCHES FOR REAL MADRID FOR PROFESSIONAL REASONS!" - C.RONALDO

Cristiano ronaldo did not celebrate as his brace (2 goals) helped Real Madrid to the team's first win of the season against Granada...his goals were also symbolic as they marked his 150th goal in 149 matches in the colours of real Madrid. But in uncharacteristic manner, he refused to celebrate. And when asked why, he told the press he was SAD and his team knew why, but when pressed further he revealed it was for professional reasons.

NEWCASTLE UNITED's COACH GETS 2 MATCH 'TOUCHLINE' BAN FOR PUSHING LINES MAN...LAST YEAR MAN U'S FERGUSON GOT 5 MATCH BAN FOR COMPLAINING...BTW FERGY'S FROM SCOTLAND!

Alan Pardew pushes the lines man

The official statement read:

"Following an Independent Regulatory Commission held today (Monday 3 September 2012), Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has been given a two match touchline suspension and fined £20,000 after he accepted an FA charge of improper conduct."

When Newcastle hosted Tottenham in their 2-1 win Alan Pardew, the Toons' coach pushed Kirkup one of the lines men and Pardew was immediately contrited after he shoved Kirkup for missing what he believed to be a throw-in to Newcastle  at the Sport Direct Arena.

Spurs’ Aaron Lennon went on to have a shot at goal as play continued, prompting Pardew’s impulsive reaction.

Referee Martin Atkinson missed the incident but sent Pardew to the stands after being alerted by fourth official Lee Mason, who was stood behind Kirkup and Pardew at the time before briefly stepping in to separate the two.

Though Pardew shook Mason’s hand before heading for the director’s box for the remaining 20 minutes of the match and apologised to Kirkup after the game, but the FA had to act upon Atknison’s match report.
It would be recalled that man U's coach was handed a five match ban for calling match official unfair last year...does this have anything to do with him not being Scottish?

OBJ vs EEDRIS: "jagajaga is the height of Blasphemy!" - OBJ. "You be my Mugu!" - Eedris

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo

Former Nigeria's President just like he did in 2004, has condemned Eedris Abdulkarim's Jagajaga track again! He made the remark while speaking at a forum organized by Nigeria Leadership Initiative (NLI) in Lagos on Tuesday, where he also expressed his passion to see a better Nigeria.
In his words,
“one of the worst problems Nigeria is facing is disbelief"
“Nigerians no longer believe in themselves neither do they believe in their country.”
“That takes me back to that song ‘jaga jaga’. How could a sane man dare to call his country jaja jaja?”
“It is the height of blasphemy.”
“We are grooming our youths for tomorrow’s leadership and with such persons I don’t think the country can move forward”.

Responding to fmr President Olusegun Obasanjo when he heard about the remark, Eedris Abdulkarim took to twitter and typed,
"...my mugu!" This twit was in reference to Obasanjo's earlier remarks.
Mugu is a slang used to describe a victim of fraudsters.

BRUCE WILLIS vs APPLE!!!...if he wins, every iTunes customer, would've won a great battle!

Hollywood action movie hero, Bruce Willis is reported to be considering legal action against Information technology giant, Apple over his desire to leave his digital music collection to his daughters.
Willis arrived at the position after he discovered that, like anyone who has bought music online, he does not actually own the tracks but is instead ‘borrowing’ them under a licence.
Most purchasers do not bother to read the details of the terms and conditions they agree to when buying an album but the small print makes it clear that music bought through iTunes should not be passed on to others.
Bruce Willis' obviously spent thousands of dollars downloading music on to ‘many, many iPods’, he is keen to be able to hand it on legitimately to three daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallaluh.
How this will pan out? We'll definitely keep you posted!
