Blessing Okagbare, Yohan Blake and Other International Athletes Say, Bring Back Our girls!

In the words of Bambo Akani who founded Making of Champions: an initiative to promote Nigerian athletics, “Nigeria has won a few medals, our team is doing well, but we must continue to push for peace and security in our country”.

Top Athletes Yohan Blake and Christine Ohuruogu teamed up at The World Relay Championship this weekend not only to compete for medals, but to also join the many voices around the world campaigning for the return of the abducted Chibok girls. 

Other elite athletes like Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare, the president of the International Association of Athletics Federation-  Lamine Diack, Tonique Williams-Darling, Chris Brown and Bambo Akani, the managing director of Making of Champions also joined the campaign at the first ever meet.
