Out of the 103 female students abducted by Boko Haram, 15 of the Girls Government School, Chibok, Borno state, students have escaped.
Speaking with AFP one of the girls who fled said they escaped when the men were trying to fix their vehicle after it broke down. According to her, "They tried to fix it. It was at this moment that some of us jumped out of the vehicle and ran into the bush".
Senator Ali Ndume, the senator representing the region in the senate house, surveillance helicopters have also been employed in the search patrol team. He said: "They are now combing the forest to rescue the girls. They are being aided by surveillance helicopters".
We pray the remaining girls are rescued from these evil human beings.
