Was Azazi sacked for blaming the emergence of BokoHaram on PDP's undemocratic progress? Or was it just that he was incompetent?
The president, who many have criticized over his poor handling of the security situation in the country, was no doubt frustrated by the duos inability to help curtail the menace of the Boko Haram sect. There was no official explanation for the sack.
A statement from presidential spokesman, Reuben Abbati, said that Col. Sambo Dasuki has been named as Azazi's replacement. No replacement however has been announced for the former Defence Minister
