Timea Bacsinszky (23rd seed) took the semi finals first set in what some thought was going to be a games' upset, but Serena Williams ( Number 1) showed why she is still number one when she overcame the defeat to win 4-6, 6-3. 6-0 to book a place in the French opens final.
