Nigerian Soldiers Kill Over 2 Dozen Boko Haram Members!

According to an official of a local vigilante group, Muhammad Gava who spoke in a phone interview with PREMIUM TIMES said theat around 5pm on Sunday Boko haram insurgents launched an attack on Damboa (damboa it was where Boko Haram on July 17 hoisted their flags after a deadly gun battle that killed several soldiers and a Lieutenant Colonel commanding the military base there), and more than a dozen of them were killed by Nigerian soldiers. In his words, he said: “My members of the vigilante group in Damboa had informed me early this morning that the attack was repelled and more than two dozen of them were killed... the gunmen, according to our Vigilante members in Damboa, came from the direction of Sambisa forest and driving several pickup vans and some military-like armoured personnel carriers”.
Feeders also came in that, several ammunition including a Buffalo Armoured Personnel Carrier were abandoned by the terrorists.
Can we now officially say the truce announced by govt last week didn't happen or that the truce has collapsed?
