According to Adams the hip hop artist yelled at him,
'I ain't down with that g*y s***"' before he broke his nose outside a Washington DC hotel.
The civil lawsuit was filed Tuesday in a DC Superior Court. Adams is seeking $1m from Chris and another $1m form his bodyguard Christopher Hollosy who he claims joinned in beating him up. And an extra $500,000 from each man for punitive damages. Adams was allegedly trying to get in a photo that Brown was taking with two of Adams' friends. But Chris Brown has denied any misdeeds Chris claims Adams was the aggressor, trying to strong-arm his way on to his tour bus. Lawyers for Brown and Hollosy declined to comment Thursday on the civil lawsuit.
During a hearing Thursday, lawyers picked April 17 as the start date for the trial that is expected to last two or three days.
