The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has responded to accusations by the supervising minister of education, Nyesom Wike, that their new demands are outrageous, according to Leadership, ASUU's national treasurer, Dr. Ademola Aremu said that they all the resolutions that they agreed with President Goodluck Jonathan was not in the letter presented to them. Hence, the Union demands that the President endorsed the resolutions made with him. ASUU had demanded that N200 billion which was agreed on to be distributed to all the benefiting universities be included.
