62-year-old Fatoke Abiodun, a veteran guitarist of over 30 years who used to play for two time Grammy nominee, King Sunny Ade has been sentenced
to three years imprisonment for drug trafficking at the Federal High
Court, Lagos.
The guitarist who is married to three wives and has 12 children was arrested on January 1st, 2013, at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos while
attempting to board an Air France flight to Italy. He claims poverty drove him to the crime.
