NFF SETTLES SUPER EAGLES COACHES' OUTSTANDINGS PLUS JANUARY SALARIES!

Now that the Nigeria Football Federation has decided to settle all the unpaid salaries to the Stephen Keshi-led technical crew of the Super Eagles today, the body has ordered its finance department to settle all the salary arrears owed the coaches latest today.    It was learnt yesterday that the NFF also directed that the coaches, who are said to be owed three months salary, be paid up to January, as a form of motivation ahead the South Africa 2013 AFCON, which will commence on January 19.
Keshi's monthly salary is N5 million he gets N20 million including his January salary, while Amokachie with a monthly salary of N3 million will smile home with N12 million. The two assistant coaches, Sylvanus Okpala and goalkeeper trainer, Ike Shorunmi, with a monthly salary of N1.5 million will receive the sum of N6 million each for their four months’ salary.
Spokesman of the NFF, Ademola Olajire, confirmed in a chat with The Guardian yesterday in Abuja said that, “We are dedicated to the welfare of the entire team not the coaches alone. The general secretary has directed that all the three months salary arrears of the coaches be settled latest Wednesday. The federation has gone even ahead to approve the payment of the coaches’ January salary as a form of motivation as the team prepares to depart Faro for South Africa".
