Adele Becomes First Woman (Since Britney Spears) to Hit 2 Diamond Albums!

Adele has yet broken another record! What this time? The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), shows that as of 20 September 2016 Adele's 3rd record "25" has sold 10 million units since it came out (10x platinum) and nine million of this sale are reportedly in pure sales. Earlier she went diamond with her sophomore album "21", in 2011, but it took two years to make the same achievement: 25 has done it in less than half the time. 21 has now been certified 14x platinum, her debut 19 is 3x platinum, and her single ‘Hello’ is now 7x platinum.

This feat makes her the first woman this decade to have two diamond albums in the US (after Britney Spears with 1999’s Baby One More Time and Oops I Did It Again in 2000).

Court Orders Teenage Cult Members be Remanded for Stabbing Fellow Cultist to Death!

Ajegunle, Lagos. Teenage cult members, Imole Olarewaju and Segun Malic on the 3rd of August around 8pm allegedly stabbed a friend to death at a party in Lagos and Chief Magistrate Mrs Ipaye Nwachukwu of a Surulere Chief Magistrates’ Court on Monday ordered they be remanded at an Abeokuta Correctional Home for Boys pending advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). The magistrate adjourned the case to Nov. 22 for mention.

Prosecutor, Sgt. Anthonia Osanyade, told the court that the accused with others still at large committed the offences ‎at Kehinde Street, Ajegunle, Lago.

 The accused and others at large were attending a party of fellow secret cult members at the above address and the party later degenerated into a free-for-all, she said. “The accused and others used a kitchen knife to stab Endurance Augustin, 18, leaving him to bleed to death.’’

The offences contravened Sections ‎221 and 231 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2011.

Nigeria's Theatre Command, Operation LAFIYA DOLE says, Chibok was not attacked again, but a village 30 km away. In Thatre Command's words, "Lafiya Dole wishes to clarify that alleged suspected Boko Haram terrorists attack at Chibok is not correct. What happened was that, 2 persons were murdered at Kwamjilari village, (which is over 30 kilometres from Chibok, and very close to Sambisa forest), by suspected remnants of Boko Haram terrorists looking for food.

We wish to reiterate that they weren’t killed outside or near a church as being bandied around. The people from the said village are all in Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Chibok. Those who went back to the village without authorization were moved back to Chibok 2 weeks ago. Those killed went back on their own contrary to security advise.
Nevertheless, a patrol team was sent from Chibok went to the village this morning. Adequate measures would be taken to ensure no one go back to the village for now.

French Man On Temporary Visa Shouts, "Allahu Akbar" As He Stabbed British Woman to Death in Australia!

Last night a 29-year-old French man has reportedly stabbed a British woman to death as he chanted the Arabic phrase, "Allahu akbar" at a hostel in the town of Home Hill, south of Townsville in northern Queensland.

According to Queensland Police Deputy Commissioner Steve Gollschewski, "While this information will be factored into the investigation, we are not ruling out any motivations at this early stage, whether they be political or criminal... Investigators will also consider whether mental health or drug misuse factors are involved in this incident... the associated issues of what motivated him and whether that has any relevance to radicalization is something we're going to explore fully, but we won't know for some time whether that's the case,"
Another Briton, a 30-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition. While an Australian wounded too has been treated and realised. A dog was fatlly wounded.

She has been elected as the new United Nations Secretary-General to replace Ban Ki-moon as his term comes to an end. Ban ki-moon had pleaded for his successor to be a woman days ago.
