Those in Charge Stole Funds Meant for Weapons to Protect Lives Lost to Insurgence - President Buhari

President Buhari has condemned  in strong terms the recent discovery of syphoning of funds meant for the security of the nation by those in authority before he took over the leadership of Nigeria. In his words, his office said:

“The findings made so far are extremely worrying considering that the interventions were granted within the same period that our troops fighting the insurgency in the northeast were in desperate need of platforms, military equipment and ammunition... Had the funds siphoned to these non-performing companies been properly used for the purpose they were meant for, thousands of needless Nigerian deaths would have been avoided... investigations unearthed several illicit and fraudulent financial transactions... It was observed that in spite of this huge financial intervention, very little was expended to support defence procurement...  award of fictitious and phantom contracts” totalling some $2 billion, supposedly to buy four Alpha (fighter) jets, 12 helicopters, bombs and ammunition... were not executed and the equipment (was) never supplied to the Nigerian Air Force, neither are they in its inventory... for unascertained purposes, without documents to explain the transactions”.

“It is worrisome and disappointing that those entrusted with the security of this great nation were busy using proxies to siphon the national treasury, while innocent lives were wasted daily."

Presidency has orederd that everyone found involved in this HUGE fraud should be brought in for questioning irrespective of his or her standing in the society.

Billboard Omitting 2PAC's Name from TOP 10 Rappers of All Time is an Insult to RAP!

Though BILLBOARD came up with some cock n bull stuff about their list of Top 10 Greatest rappers of all time, but whatever their excuse is anyone with a list of TOP 10 greatest rappers without 2PAC should just forget the list. All rappers on the list in their own minds know that the list ain't worth sh*t with the exclusion of 2PAC!

SnoopDOgg took to instagram not to even complain about his name being excluded, but about the absence of one of the greatest rappers of all time. It's like naming the 10 greatest boxers of all-time and excluding Mike Tyson only to back it up with some rants in the form of excuses!

This is definitely an insult to RAP! To use Snoop's words, "This is so disrespectful. !! Whoever did this list need a swift kick in the Ass. No. Tupac. Come on cuz..."
For the reason of record, the List read: 1. Notorious BIG 2. JayZ 3. Eminem 4. Rakim 5. Nas 6. Andre 3000 7. Lauryn Hill 8. Ghostface Killah 9. Kendrick Lamar 10. Li'l Wayne

Former James Bond Pierce Brosnan Says BOX Office Smashing, Daniel Craig Bond Movie, "SPECTRE" Isn't a Bond Movie At all!

"SPECTRE" the latest James Bond movie starring daniel Craig might be a Box Office success, but according to the man who played James Bond between 1995 and 2002, Pierce Brosnan says. it's so not a BOND Movie! The movie tops the BOX office with an amazing $510 million USD so far!

In his words, he said: “I was looking forward to it enormously,” said Brosnan. “[But] I thought it was too long. The story was kind of weak — it could have been condensed. It kind of went on too long. It really did.”

is neither fish nor fowl. It’s neither Bond nor Bourne. Am I in a Bond movie? Not in a Bond movie?... Daniel, in the fourth go-round, has ownership of it. He had a nice looseness to him...  He’s a mighty warrior, and I think he found a great sense of himself in this one with the one-liners and a nice playfulness there. Just get a tighter story, and he’ll have another classic... I think the guy was just fairly banjaxed by playing it. By the time you finish making a Bond movie, you don’t want to hear the name, see the name or have anything to do with it because you just want to go to ground... Give him another year off here, and he’ll be ready to rock and roll for sure.”

‘SPECTRE’ is currently top of the world box office chart, having made a rather impressive £355 million so far.

Exchange of Gunfire Disturbs Peace Again in Festac Town!

Since Tunde Fashola ended his tenure as governor of lagos state, security situation in Lagos has continued to be a headache. Just this morning FESTAC Town, Lagos was in disarray as suspected oil thieves escaping from security personnel shot sporadically into the air. This shooting continued for one hour. An eye-witness said, “At first we thought they were armed robbers as they were shooting sporadically into the air but later we discovered they were a group of oil bunkers who came heavily armed..."

Soldiers and policemen responded to this early morning attack, but it appears criminals are beginning to dare Lagos security setup. Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Joseph Offor, said: “There was no robbery in FESTAC Town this morning, what happened in the community was sporadic shooting by some hoodlums in the creek but the place is calm now... We arrested and paraded some of them last week and impounded a tanker with about 7,500 litres of petroleum products with a hose and pumping machine... They are not happy, and I guess that is the reason for them to wake up this morning to disturb the neighbourhood... In swift reaction, the soldiers and the police were immediately deployed to the scene but there are no arrest so far."

Buhari's Appointment of INEC National Commissioners Suffers Constitutional Setback!

Though President Buhari might've hearkened unto Civil rights lawyer, Femi Falana's unconstitutionality of one national INEC commssioner by appointing six, but it appears President Buhari isn't out of the unconstitutionla woes as it relates to INEC as two of the six commissioners are persons of questionable character... one was indicted for fixing Judicial funds and he did not remit the interest. The other two is of questionable character hence if the President doesn't do anything about this soonest, the Bayelsa and Kogi elections might be unconstitutional.
