A Federal High court, in its ruling has ordered that Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Mr Bala Ngilari, be sworn in as Governor of Adamawa because he did not resign his position before the former governor Murtala Nyako was impeached. While declaring the swearing in of acting governor, Umaru Fintiri, as illegal and unconstitutional he was ordered to vacate of the Government House immediately! INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) was also ordered not to conduct the governorship bye-election slated for October 11.
