Boko Haram had bombed Maiduguri killing over 30 people in Ngurosaye village market of Bama local government. Now, DailyPost reports that travellers along Maiduguri, Adamawa; enroute Bama axis revealed that 6 trucks conveying corpses suspected to be those of the Boko Haram fighters were sighted coming out of the dreaded Sambisa forest area. The travellers said they saw the corpses when they were stopped for usual checks by soldiers near Bama town on Monday.
According to traveller, Magi Hassan, a student of Federal University of Technology, Yola in Adamawa state who left Maiduguri alongside friends to Adamawa state said, the soldiers were saying that the reign of Boko Haram has come to a close. She said the soldiers, who seemed to be happy were also telling passengers that, very soon, nobody would stop them for checks or plant IEDs on the high way with the intention of killing innocent people. According to her, “One of the soldiers, while giving information to some of his colleagues simply said, ‘We got the bastards,’.
