Nigeria's Ejike Uzoenyi Voted Most Valuable Player At CHAN 2014

He was Nigeria’s biggest revelation at CHAN 2014 in South Africa and by far the most accomplished at the event after picking 3 man of the match trophies and scored 3 goals. Ejike Uzoenyi has been crowned as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN). Ejike plays for Nigerian Premier League side, Enugu Rangers left winger scooped three Man of the Match awards at this tournament and he also scored three goals. Uzoenyi has played club football in Nigeria and France for Enyimba, Enugu Rangers and Rennes.He made his international debut for Nigeria in 2012, and has appeared in FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. He was called up to Nigeria’s 23-man squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.He was named to Nigeria’s squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship.
