"Battle for Africa" Zimbabweans Angry D'Banj's Performance not Good Enough as Ugandan Star, Bebe Stole the Show!

'Battle for Africa' main act, Nigeria's D'Banj left fans disappointed as he performed below expectations. For $20 USD per person they felt short-changed! Earlier amazing performances by local dance-hall artistes like; Guspy Warrior, King Shady and Winky D at the Glamis Arena had raised the bar such that when D'Banj mounted the stage and sang 'Fall in Love', 'Igwe' and 'Why Me' among others and in about 45 minutes, the show had turned to his less known songs. Even inviting twerking dancers on stage to put some hype to the show did not save the day.
It was our very own Bebe Cool who took the day doing some of his hits that included; 'Coccidiosis', 'Trouble', 'Missing You', 'Mambo Mingi' and 'Fitina'. The fans did not know most of the songs, but this did not stop them from dancing and cheering the Gagamel CEO.
One person said: "D'Banj just has two songs (Oliver Twist and Fall in Love) that are popular in Zim and to bring him as the main act for a reputable Festival like Lion Larger Beer fest defies all the fundamental tenets of logic."
After trouncing Nigerian-super star D'Banj, Bebe Cool will be battling the Goodlyfe Crew on Dec 6, 2013.
