Governor Rotimi Amaechi Floors President Goodluck And Jang - Re-Elected NGF Chairman!

Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and current chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum has been reelected Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) by state Governors at a meeting held this evening inside the Rivers State Governors Lodge in Abuja. 

Governor Amaechi floored Plateau State Governor, Jonah David Jang by 19-16 votes.

Those who voted for Amaechi are the 6 ACN Governors, Lone CPC Governor, APGA Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha and 6 yet to be identified Governors.

The win comes as a victory for the governor who is rumoured that President Goodluck's planning to remove because of their ongoing indirect confrontations. Congrats to the Governor and President Goodluck? You decide!
