MURDERED ALUU4: SENATE OBSERVES ONE-MINUTE SILENCE AS UNIPORT STUDENTS SET ALUU ON FIRE!


Senator Ayogu Eze representing Enugu North Senatorial District moved a motion for a minute silence which was honored by him and 90 others in the senate in honour of 4 University of portHarcourt students murdered in cold blood by Rampaging youths of Aluu village, while others watched. This happened after the national members of National Association of Nigerian Students mobilised students of UniPort to stage a protest against the violent killing of their colleagues. The students marched to Aluu village after pelting the UniPort V.C. with sachets of Pure Water and set over 10 houses and cars on fire at Aluu community.
The Rivers State commissioner for information, while sympathising with the students condemned the arson act embarked upon by them.
University of Portharcourt's been shut by the school's governing body.
