YAKUBU AIYEGBENI SCORES AGAIN AS DROGBA FAILS TO MAKE TEAM

Yakubu Aiyegbeni was again on the scoresheet as the his team played for a spot in the chinese F.A. cup, Though he got a goal it was not good enough as his team Guangzhou R&F lost 4-3 to Liaoning Whowin.
But, Didier Drogba's Shanghai Shenhua could not find a place for their star signing in their line-up with the ex-Chelsea striker still yet to make his debut alongside former Blues teammate Nicolas Anelka. Shanghai were knocked out of the tournament 5-3 on penalties to Changchun Yatai after extra-time ended scoreless.
Other foreign imports had amazing results...
Former Borussia Dortmund ace Lucas Barrios was on target for Guangzhou Evergrande with the equalizing goal as they came from behind to beat Henan Construction 2-1.
Frederic Kanoute, who recently joined Beijing Guoan from Sevilla, scored a double to open his account as his club easily ran out 6-0 winners over Qingdao Jonoon.
