BOKO HARAM MEMBER WHO MASTERMINDED XMAS DAY & UN (BUILDING) BOMBING ARRESTED AFTER A SHOOT-OUT BTW JTF AND THE SECT

The federal authorities had earlier declared him wanted in connection with the Madalla Christmas Day 2011 bombing, Habibu Bama.

A statement signed by Marilyn Ogar of the Department of State Services described Bama as an ex-soldier and a Kanuri from Bama, in Borno State.

Habibu Bama, who travelled by several aliases.  like,

•    Habib BAMA;
•    Shuaibu BAMA; and
•    Habib MAMMAN.

was today arrested in Yobe state after the JTF laid siege for him and engaged members of the sect - Boko Haram in a shoot-out.

He is said to have masterminded several Boko haram hits including the one on the UN building at Abuja, the madala christmas day bombing and several others.
