AFRICA's SOCCER LEGEND, ROGER MILLA INVITES LIONEL MESSI TO CAMEROON




Will Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi could touch down Cameroon this weekend for african soccer legend Roger Milla’s birthday?

The 1990 World Cup sensation turned 60 on May 20 but celebrations for the birthday takes place today, Friday June 29 and the three-time Ballon d’Or winner is one of the illustrious guests invited to attend.

Roger Milla was quoted as saying:

“We have invited Lionel Messi and he accepted, now let’s see if his schedule will allow him to make the trip. I’m confident he’d be around”.

“He will be able to fly in with a private jet to feast with us. Cameroonians would be happy to see Messi here,” 

“It will be the last time I will kick football and it will be my final goodbye to soccer.” he concluded.

Other guests billed to attend are Samuel Eto’o, Abedi Pele and George Weah. 

A gala match, cultural dance and other activities have been scheduled, according to organisers.
Also the first bricks of sports complex to be built by Milla’s financial partners will be laid at his home town Japoma in the littoral region.
