D’banj along with Mavin stars (DonJazzy's new outfit) Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage and omawumi, MI, J. Martins, Sound Sultan, MI, 9ice, Obesere, Flavour, Naeto C, Ice Prince, Wizkid, Waje, KC, Yinka Best, and Mr. Raw were officially signed on in a grand ceremony held in Lagos recently. The array of music stars is sure to make this year’s edition of Star Trek even more explosive, as the show moves across 10 cities of the country.
Hip hop sensation, Tuface Idibia has been signed on to headline this year’s edition of Star Trek, the nation’s biggest and longest running musical tour.
Tuface says: “For me to perform in Nigeria’s biggest music concert is a big deal and I thank Nigerian Breweries, makers of Star lager beer, for bringing me along to do my thing with other great Nigerian musicians.”
Just like in previous editions, Star Trek would not only be about established music stars, winners of the just concluded Star Quest, Crystals Band and other past winners like the BEAT, Diamondz, and Juke Box will also be on the bandstand.
Tony Agenmonmen, Marketing Manager (lager), stated that Star Trek would bring excitement and fun to the 10 cities.
“I can assure you that it will be a great experience in the different cities where Star Trek will hold. Since 2002, only one beer brand has consistently taken the very best of Nigerian artistes to locations where music concerts of that magnitude are not normally held, and this year, and we are following in the tradition.”
